The official release of Priima LMS was celebrated at a breakfast event in Helsinki at MOW’s premises on Friday Oct. 19th. Plenty of online learning experts, that think a straightforward learning management system is something to pursue, took part in the event.
The morning started with a delicious breakfast catered by Roots Helsinki. The event kicked off with Priima’s new marketing video that is produced by a production company from Tampere called Koju. The awesome video got a wonderful reception and lots of compliments. It’s possible to spot some of Discendum’s staff in the video that you can check out here. Great job from the whole team!
After the sporty launch, Discendum’s new partners Lionbridge Finland and IntoLead got to present and tell about their organisations. Lionbridge Finland is an online learning localisation expert and their ample expert team is ready to help Discendum’s customers that have needs regarding online learning localisation. IntoLead is an online learning expert and their strength is in producing effective training and courses. Together we can build user driven, pedagogically high quality and finalised online courses easily to all of our customers.
Eric shed light on Priima’s birth story and talked about plans for the future. After the overdue “pregnancy”, it was wonderful to celebrate the birth of Priima together. Eric wished for a broad cooperation to support Priima’s growth; from the service it is now towards an entity that serves everyone even better. Eric also discussed future plans, which were greeted with delight. Community features and deepening the analytics are Priima’s next steps and learning and guidance will become easier because of them.
Tuomas presented the platform’s features and highlighted Priima’s learner centric approach, easy integration and versatile opportunities to use external services as a part of Priima. By now, LTI became familiar to everyone. More information about LTI tools can be found from Edu App’s website and we will also tell more about the subject in our newsletters in the future. If you’re not yet subscribed, do it here now (only in Finnish at the moment)!
Priima Launch is now successfully behind us and we are looking forward to the future. Priima’s next bigger update will happen in the beginning of November and another one again in January!
Keep up with the journey!
With straightforward regards,
Tuomas Kuusivaara, vice CEO
